The workshop application form includes a field to request funding for travel, and/or for lodging and meals while at the workshop. TIO can fund lodging & meals for many participants, but we encourage participants to try to secure their own funds for airfare and ground transport. We have resources for a limited number of travel awards, and in some cases (not all) we may give preference to applicants who can provide partial or complete funds for travel, in addition to other application fields we are evaluating. The approximate cost for lodging and meals is $1100 (US dollars) for the entire workshop.
Applicants are encouraged to contact their country/organization-specific representative to request funding for roundtrip airfare. Details about travel funds supplied by individual partners will be added below as we learn of opportunities.
