The Thirty Meter Telescope International Observatory sponsored a workshop open to astronomy and engineering graduate students and postdocs from the TMT partnership. This workshop was offered through the Institute for Scientist & Engineer Educators at University of California, Santa Cruz.

- Knowledge about opportunities for future involvement with TMT
- Valuable skills such as project management from TMT leaders
- Leadership and teamwork experience through hands-on training activities
- Mauna Kea summit and existing observatory facilities visits
- Opportunity to help design a potential future TMT international program
