ISEE telescope workforce development programs span the college to professional level, providing training, work experience, and mentoring to advance people from diverse backgrounds into jobs related to telescopes. Current programs include:

Akamai Workforce Initiative
Supporting local telescope workforce development for telescopes in Hawai’i
Internships for college students from Hawai’i and emphasizing jobs related to telescope operations

Supporting the Thirty Meter Telescope (TMT) International Observatory
Workshop and involvement in TMT projects for graduate students and postdocs from the TMT partnership and with interests in science, instruments, or operations
